The Acer Aspire One E100 is a mid-grade net-book designed after the Acer D255 model which is completely branded and altered to function as an education device. The Acer Aspire One E100 netbook will include a 10.1 inch LCD display, an unidentified Intel Atom processor, 1GB installed RAM, and a 250GB total storage capacity hard drive. Acer is also claiming the Aspire One E100 will feature an estimated battery life of eight hours of consistent use. For OS options the Aspire One E100 will include dual boot options (Android/Windows) which means it provides users with a choice to boot into one OS or the other. As of this writing there is no current release date or rated MSRP for the Acer Aspire One E100 netbook, however using the D255 as an estimate the E100 will likely cost approximately $350.
