Acer Aspire X3 Series

The Acer Aspire X3 Series is one of two small form factor, all-in-one desktop series (Aspire M3, Aspire X3) released in summer 2010. Whereas the M3 is outfitted more for gaming, the X3 series offers improved processing for mainstream productivity applications.

It features 4GB of memory; a broader choice of processors including AMD Athlon II, AMD Phenom II, Intel Core i3, or Intel Pentium E6600; and a much larger 1GB hard drive. Its basic version offers just integrated Intel graphics (unlike its peer, which comes right off the bat with third-party graphics), but can later be upgraded with an Nvidia GeForce 9200. Signature to the M3 Series is its improved connectivity options, which include HDMI, a single PCI Express slot, an open PCI Express x16 slot, and over 11 USB 2.0 ports.
