The Disney Netpal is a 2009 netbook designed for children aged 6 to 12. This netbook has been constructed with a reinforced mechanical design for durability, and a customized user interface. Exclusive Disney software includes a 2D “gadget tray” to launch kid-friendly applications, a collection of 15 widgets and preloaded Disney-themed websites.

Product Shot 2 While this product is geared towards children, it also has numerous features aimed at parents to give them peace of mind over their child’s privacy, security and safety online. Asus claims there are more than 40 parental control options, plus web browser and email content filters. This product features fairly standard hardware for a netbook: an 8.9” LED screen, an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of memory and either a 160 hard drive or 16GB SSD. Both wired and wireless 802.11b/g/n networking is supported. The Asus Disney Netpal is available in either pink or blue with a MSRP of $349.99.
