Asus Eee 1002HA
$565.00
Released November, 2008
The Pros:Attractive - not as cheap looking or fingerprinty as the plastic models. Still offers a decent 3 and a half hour battery life. Nicer than the majority of full sized laptops.
The Cons:2 cell battery - with no plans for Asus to offer an upgrade. Expensive for a netbook. Battery life suffers compared to cheaper models.
Introduced in late November 2008, the Asus Eee 1002HA is the latest and most luxurious model in Asus' 1000 series line-up. Featuring the more expensive S101's styling and slimness, the 1002HA is otherwise similar to the 1000HA, with it's 160GB HDD, 1GB of DDR2 ram, and a 1.6GHz Atom processor.

Sadly, however, the 1002HA only features a 2-cell battery which falls short of the announced 5 hours with a still respectful 3 hours, 39 minutes of runtime. Price has not yet been announced but expect it to be around the $565 mark.
