Asus Eee PC 1005HR-WS
$540.00
Released November, 2009
The Pros:10.1" LED backlit display with enhanced 720p capable 1366 × 768px resolution. 8-1/2 hours of battery life for all day computing. Comes with Windows 7 Starter edition - a huge improvement over XP.
The Cons:Crappy 0.3MP webcam. High price compared to previous generation offerings. Windows 7 adds cost to the device (over XP) while artificially limiting features such as multiple monitor support, changing your desktop background, DVD playback.
