The Asus Eee PC 1215N is a NVIDIA Ion-2 netbook scheduled to be available from the end of August 2010 as a successor to the Eee PC 1215. It comes with an LED-backlit LCD display, a dual-core Atom D525 processor at 1.8GHz, 1GB of RAM (presumably DDR3), a 250GB or 320GB SATA HDD, standard Ethernet, and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi.

The powerful netbook features NVIDIA's Optimus functionality, allowing to save battery life by automatically switching between low-power integrated graphics and the higher-end discrete Ion graphics module depending on application load or AC adapter connectivity. Included also are two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI output plus one VGA output, Bluetooth v3.0, an an integrated web camera.
