Asus Eee PC 701SD

The Asus Eee PC 701SD is a mid-grade "netbook" designed for ease of use that encompasses pure portability. The 701SD features an Intel Celeron M 353 model processor, 512MB DDR2 installed memory, a 7" LCD display, and 3 separate hybrid storage options*.

In addition the 701SD Eee PC also includes a unique body chassis for future memory upgrades, and comes in pearl white or pearl black body colors.

The ASUS Eee PC 701SD is a netbook; simply put, a netbook is essentially a stripped down laptop designed for extreme portability. A netbook fits most users looking to perform simple tasks on the go, as netbooks generally do not have the same performance options as regular laptops, or desktop computers. The 701SD also includes a 0.3 mega-pixel webcam, high definition audio combined with speakers and a microphone input, full 802.11 b/g support, and Windows XP Home, or GNU Linux operating system options.

*The three hybrid storage options above replace traditional hard drive support of most laptops, this helps provide most of the mobility a netbook provides.
