Dell Mini 10v

$299.00 Released May, 2009

Product Shot 1The Dell Mini 10v is a value-priced netbook computer released in mid 2009. The Mini 10v is a fully functional ultra-portable notebook, however the cost and small form factor limit its capabilities. This netbook is very similar to the Dell Mini 10, save for the faster Intel Atom N270 processor (1.6GHz) and more powerful Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950.

Because the Mini 10v is cheaper than the Mini 10, some cost-cutting measures are seen. For example the edge-to-edge screen is replaced with a bezel one and there is no high definition option. Also, the keypad doesn’t support multi-touch, and it has a VGA port instead of HDMI. The default configuration from Dell includes Windows XP, a 120GB hard drive, an 802.11g card and a 3 cell battery.
