Dell Mini 12
$440.00
Released December, 2008
The Pros:Fanless design lets it run almost completely silently. Lasts over 5 hours per charge without turning settings down. Boots up in less than a minute and opens applications quickly.
The Cons:Struggles to run Windows Vista, can occasionally experience slow-downs. Keyboard has some awkwardly positioned keys, takes some getting used to. No drive and it doesn't come with much software - difficult to get it set up to do much more than surf and do email.
The Dell Mini 12 is a now-discontinued netbook originally released in late 2008. The Mini 12 is a fully functional ultra-portable notebook, however the cost and small form factor limit its capabilities.
