Gigabyte T1028
$699.00
Released July, 2009
The Pros:Flexibility makes it much more versatile than an ordinary netbook. A button on the side with which you can check your battery status while it's turned off, or call up a customisable function in Windows. ExpressCard Slot (not found on most netbooks).
The Cons:The touchpad is too small. The touchpad's buttons are split (on either side of pad). Power button is in weird place (on the side).
The Gigabyte T1028 is a high-end netbook PC designed with a convertible top; meaning it swivels/pivots backwards so that the screen is completely facing out. This function allows the device to be used as a large size tablet PC; many similar devices include a stylus so that users can take notes in a more traditional writing style instead of typing.
