HP Compaq 201

The HP Compaq 201 is the cheapest of the Feburary 2010 line of netbooks. Priced at $229 it is much cheaper than the $329 HP Mini 210 or the $399 HP Mini 2101. Unlike the more expensive netbooks, the HP Compaq 201 does not have the newest processor, instead it makes use of the widely used but older N270 processor.

It comes with 1GB of RAM and has Windows 7 Starter pre-installed. It comes with the standard glossy lid like older HP mini netbooks instead of the new rubbery cover that the HP Mini 210 and the HP Mini 2101 comes with.
