Released January, 2009
The Pros:Web browsing and email are very quick, fast WiFi connection. Large enough storage to handle a big collection of software. Has a card reader, 3 USB ports and Bluetooth, easy to connect with other devices.

The U120 is an update of the very popular U100, designed primarily for a lower target retail price. Aside from built-in WiMax WiFi and an optional upgrade to a 3.5G HSDPA wireless broadband, the U120 differs from the U100 in mostly cosmetic ways.

Its lines are sleeker and more sophisticated than its predecessor, representing a departure from the U100's aesthetic. The U120 has replaced the unwieldy single bar mouse button with silver right and left buttons. Buyers should keep in mind that the U120 does not have a memory expansion slot like other models in the Wind line, so cannot be upgraded. Otherwise, this model delivers the standard netbook feature-set plus mobile broadband at a reduced price.
