Smartbook Logo

Released June, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:HDMI output. 11.6" display with higher-than-netbook 720p capable 1366 x 768px resolution. Built-in 3G connectivity.

The Cons:Only 1GB of RAM. No branding makes it look like some type of knockoff. Confusing name - is not what the consumer has been lead to believe is a smartbook (while to be fair the company was apparently the first to use/own the smartbook moniker).

The Smartbook Logo is a CULV-based laptop announced at CeBIT 2010. It utilizes an ultra-thin design and is stocked with an Intel CULV processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 250GB SATA HDD. Its key component is a 3G UMTS modem that’ll allow users immediate nationwide access to the Internet.

Additional features include an HDMI output, the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, and a battery with an 8-hour lifespan. Many critics complain that although the Logo’s specs are decent, it is anything but a Smartbook.
